Test Driving The Nikon AW100 Waterproof Camera

February 2nd, 2012 Comments off

The Nikon waterproof camera is a device that allows for the shooting and capturing of images and videos in less than considerate weather conditions. By proofing the device, it is capable of withstanding areas that most lower end devices would have trouble operating in. Being spill proof makes it next to impossible for internal components to get damaged while being operated in these conditions.

For high definition filming and captures, 1080p is the maximum allowed by these types of cameras. Images come out clear and vividly detailed, and movies are smooth and pleasant on the eyes, with plenty of detail in order to see everything perfectly. Uploading images to a computer or cell phone is easy and recommended for viewing by others.

Waterproofing is usually capable of handling itself to a depth of thirty three feet. Like watches, the camera is capable of capturing images up to this depth without problems or component damage. The same clarity is to be expected underwater as out of it when shooting stills.

Using proofed cameras with gloves on can be difficult, but there are many models that appreciate this fact and provide ease of operation with bulky hands covered in gloves or otherwise, making setting changes simpler. Touch screens are less resistant and less prone to dirtying than other lenses.

A low light sensor can make capturing stills in darker conditions simpler by increasing the amount of light that is filtered into the device between each shot, making details appear finer and more significant. This is a good feature to have in some parts of the world where there is little sunlight or the days are shorter than normal, but shooting requires that there be captures made far into the night.

Geotagging is a new feature found in most cellphones and cameras that allows the user to input their geographical location and imprint it digitally onto the photo. This makes for an excellent sharing opportunity to showcase exactly where the camera and its operator have been during their adventures.

The Nikon underwater camera is amazing! We would love to introduce you to the best waterproof camera 2011 – you will love this list.

Palm Mobile Phones Give You Glorious Applications In The Center Of Your Hand

February 1st, 2012 Comments off

Palm Cell Phones has added another phone to its incredibly popular line of Palm-Pre. This one is aptly named the Palm Pre Plus. It follows its previous version as an upgrade and a very good upgrade, make no mistake about that. However it does not try and redefine the Palm Pre ideal nor the smartphone, so do not expect that.

The Positive by Palm Phones offers 2 times the memory of the Palm Pre as well as a reworked form to better fit the hands of users. It offers a clear touch sensitive screen, a full Qwerty keyboard as well as Palm’s webOS Platform, one that is quite intuitive. The webOS Platform permits users to stay attached to a range of net-based programs such as Microsoft Outlook Emails, Google calendars, docs and events, to name a couple.

But that is actually not all that is incorporated into this smartphone. With it, callers get integrated instant messaging, a 3 megapixel camera with an LED Flash, inbuilt GPS navigation, accelerometer, intuitive background lighting, 5.5 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time as well as 16GB of RAM and USB mass storage.

Maybe the nicest part of the Palm Pre And is that it is formed just like lots of other smartphones, most notably the iPhone as well as the HTC Touch and assorted Blackberry Cellular Telephones. While it requires a similar shape of those devices the touch sensitive screen slides up, divulging the full Qwerty keyboard. This isn't like the solo touch screen or the flip out on many phones for the Qwerty keyboard. Personally, I find this feature as the best mix of QWERTY and touch-sensitive screen to date.

Whatever one makes of this telephone it is clear that most cellphone corporations have upped their game and that competition has become tight. The times of domination on the market from iPhone and Blackberry may be over. That is not to claim that they won't continue doing well, from any outlook it appears they can, however it seems a variety of other telephone makers have got a clear appreciation of what must be done to remain competitive.

Really this is all good news for the consumers. This type of competition will only bring out the best work from the corporations and prices will likely drop, too. So it looks like the purchaser may get the benefit of increasingly good technology at a faster rate than what we’ve already seen!
