We Probably Got It On Tape

August 9th, 2011 Comments off

In the 80′s there were some really old video cameras sitting around the house. It wasn’t until my Dad brought home the RCA Camcorder that we became passionate about making home videos. Passionate isn’t an exaggeration we truly fell in love with making home movies. We were filming on a daily basis during on the summer and as often as possible during the school year.

Dad wasn’t a big fan of the kids touching it but once he saw some of the stuff we were doing with it He relaxed. The kids quickly became the primary camera men in the household.

Birthdays and graduations were nice but we preferred making our own shorts, sketches and of course we thoroughly enjoyed filming family and friends without them knowing. I don’t have a clue how many VHS tapes we had with relatives looking like goobers.

Much like my Commodore 64 the RCA Camcorder is the home video product that I made all of my best memories with. Not because I haven’t recorded good memories since then but because of the memories we made while using it. It was the first one so every thing we did with it was being done for the first time.

It wasn’t always new but it was always fun. That zeal we had never really went away but the camera did. We continued to make videos with whatever my Dad purchased next but I can’t even remember what it was. It was much smaller but it served the exact same purpose.

Everyone loves making home videos but most people don’t love shopping for the video camera. It’s hard to find the right camera for the right price. I recently found that HDRCX150 by Sony has most recently met all of my families needs.

This Handycam is amazing but it’s still a lot less impressive than the RCA my Dad brought home in 1985….at least to me. I’m never going to get that time back but I am confident I got an excellent product for an excellent price. I’m happy!

Gus Stephano enjoys being behind the lens. After a fair amount of research he decided to use the HDRCX150 Sony to record them doing silly things. If you need a New HandyCam you should check it out.

The cost involved in getting 3D camcorders can be rather high. Many individuals can’t even think about paying for a 3D camcorder. If you haven’t heard of the Panasonic HDC-TM90K 3D Compatible Camcorder, you will be happy to know that it is a more affordable way to get started in the 3D video recording. One thing we are going to do in this article is to explain to you what you will need to start using the Panasonic HDC-TM90K 3D Compatible Camcorder as a 3D unit and also some of the features it has.

One thing you will like about the Panasonic HDC-TM90K is the fact that it has a 28mm wide angle lens. This lens can be very helpful when you need to get big groups of people into a picture. Zoom lens are great when it comes to shooting things like school plays and this unit features a 40x zoom lens. And the fact that this Panasonic camcorder has a 16GB built-in memory is fantastic, but you can also increase the memory by purchasing a flash memory card. If you purchase a 32 GB card, that should be sufficient for your memory needs.

But, even though the Panasonic HDC-TM90K is 3D compatible, you will have to get a 3D lens. The lens that must be used for this camcorder is the Panasonic VW-CLT1 Panasonic 3D Lens. Even though you can find this lens pretty much anywhere, you can get the best deal on this lens on Amazon.com. This also goes for the Panasonic HDC-TM90K 3D Compatible Camcorder, since you can save 34% off the list price if you order it through Amazon.

Another thing you must realize is that while the 3D lens can help you to capture 3D videos, you will need a TV that you can use to watch the 3D images. For those of you who still have the average television, you may want to wait on getting the 3D lens. You can simply pick it up after you have upgraded your television.

The soft skin mode is a nice little feature that many of you will like. How this functions is that when the Panasonic HDC-TM90K detects skin tones, it will soften the focus on that area. By reducing the focus in that area, wrinkles will be more difficult to see, thereby making the subjects look more youthful looking. This is especially terrific for those of you who shoot a lot of older people, not to mention your mother will like the way she looks.

The fact that the Panasonic HDC-TM90K 3D Compatible Camcorder doesn’t come with the 3D lens is something that several users may not like. However, for those of you who haven’t upgraded your television yet, you don’t have to buy this lens. So you can always buy the lens later. If you are interested in a 3D camcorder that you can use right away, you will be able to find one. You are likely going to, though, end up paying a lot more money for a unit that is ready to go, even as much as $500 or more.
