Pictures Grainy, Olympus Proprietary Stuff, etc. makes this a drag…
I have owned many digital cameras since ’97 when they were first emerging. Other than a Kodak DC-25 (I think), the first several cameras I owned (and loved) were Olympus.

Undersea at Guanaja
I bought the Stylus 8000, underwater housing, olympus UFL1 strobe and strobe adapter. I took the camera to Guanaja, Honduras during a dive trip. The photos are incredible!

Takes a beating but…
We dropped our other Sony point and shoot into the sand at the beach. That hurt. Completely destroyed but it took great pictures. So we wanted something durable.
