LOL this guy doesn’t have a clue hahahahaha
There are a lot of cameras that shot HD, there is no way on this camera to put the flash down and it’s called Aperture priority not average priority. He’s just trying to sell the camera, it’s not a bad camera anyways, but it has a lot of downsides so it’s not all good. Not a very objective video in my opinion.

Anyone considering purchasing this camera should beware of a serious design flaw with camera. In my review, I show how the SX210 IS casts a shadow of its lens in your photo. Give it a quick view!

@sydneywhz Yes indeed, I first bought this one and realise it wasn’t that great. Then I bought the TZ 7 from panasonic, 60 euro more and still not perfect but it’s nice it’s possible to zoom during filming. It’s more a camero for long distance. To make close up shots looks not good at all. Then it’s better to buy a camera under 11 Megapixel.

@AOnTheWeb Yeah, the SX210 seems really good. I’ve been trying to find a store here in Sweden where I live, but atm they don’t sell it. Will probably order one online.

@ClaydeeeBug Well, you CAN use digital zoom, but not optical zoom. However, digital zoom has pretty mediocre quality…
Not to worry, though. The update to this (Canon Powershot SX210) can use optical zoom while recording video. It’s about $20 more. I’m thinking of getting it.

it seems like he really recommends this to HD video users, but he doesn’t even mention that you can’t operate zoom while it’s recording.
and that’s a big point to mention.
