MrGadget.Com.au – Thanks to Canon Singapore I am now a proud owner of a Canon G11. Kinda sad since I just bought a G10 last month! I’m not complaining as I think the swivel 2.8″ LCD will be more handier to have! This is what I got as part of the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards :) Thank you again Canon and Nuffnang :)

this definitely has better noise reduction in higher ISO low-light photos, but not by much. great to carry around though, certainly easier than a dSLR and better than a point-and-shoot,

I was looking for a camera with more advanced controls, because i wanted a compact camera for enthusiasts.. first I was interested in canon s90, but now I’m thinking this is way more suitable for me, as I want to start learning to take very good pictures. Hope I made a good choice. Working pretty hard to get the moneyfor it, as soon as i have them I’ll get it. Can’t wait :) ))

You realize they made that decision to get better image quality in low light.

Nah…the G11 only has 10 megapixels compared to G10. I would rather wait for G12, if there is one next time.

I think my favorite feature really has to be the adjustable ISO dial. I find it a chore to have to scroll through different menu pages just to adjust my ISO.

The viewfinder doesn’t look too comfortable seeing as to the fact that there is no rubber edges or something.

Thanks for the unboxing video. I think it gives more insight on the outward appearance and handling than a camera review site.
